The second show of Brain Failure’s “Beijing Calling” EP release tour was at Flower Kid Bar at Hefei on May 8th. Since the bar was located in the area with many universities, the venue was full with students!

Brain Failure’s “BEIJING CALLING” EP release tour had started from Banjor Bar at Jinnan on May 7th, and 400 fans not only from Jinan but also nearby cities had rushed to the show! A great success!

Brain Failure had finished recording an EP at “A-String Studio”, one of the best studio in China, having Brian Hardgroove from Public Enemy, the rap unit which raised a revolution in the 80’s in US, as producer. This will not only mean the beginning of making their long awaited third album, but the upcoming cross border collaboration era in the rock scene of China.

 What is awesome about this EP “A Box On The Broken Ball”, not only Brian had done the produce, but also Chuck D from PE had joined the rap part as guest vocal. This collaboration had realized with the aggressive offer from Brian himself. He saw Brain Failure when he saw them at “Beijing POP FES”, which festival he was also playing as the headliner as Public Enemy. It was the best show that we played in these month. And We did “living in the city” in Ragge style.People went crazy.

A small show in a totally poluted city. I could not belive this city in the capital city of HeBei. When we get off the train We even could not breath well and no blue sky. the Stage was crapy And sticky. local band was great. We took hard seat back to beijing by midnight. Waited 45 minutes to get a cab back home. I find out Beijing is so bull shit eigther again.
